About Golfview
Golfview, as the name implies, is a private golf community in the northwestern edge of the city of Rochester, Minnesota. The neighborhood is found north of the Northern Hills Golf Course and southeast of the corner of 55th Street NW and 50th Avenue NW. The district is split between two subdivisions that offer distinct home designs. These cul-de-sac neighborhoods provide a family-friendly area which features excellent amenities, well-maintained green spaces, mature trees throughout the neighborhood, and paved walkways. Several homes in the area feature fantastic views of the emerald green fairways of the nearby golf course.
The Golfview neighborhood offers one of the most beautiful residential communities in the city of Rochester. It’s been 32 years since my husband and I purchased our first residence, and we’re relocating to Rochester. We were, frankly, clueless on the whole process. After months of reviewing homes online, I came across a for sale by owner ad on social media. That was a Monday. By Saturday, we made an offer the seller accepted. Less than 4 weeks later, we closed!

My wife and I worked with Bruce Domaille when we were searching for a new home in the Rochester area. He was great to work with and really did a great job showing us houses that matched what we were looking for as closely as he could. We had some pretty specific wants and working with Bruce really helped us figure out that what we were looking for just wasn't available in this area, so we switched gears and started looking at options to build a house. Bruce had a couple builder contacts and we met a couple others at the Rochester home show that Bruce set up meetings with so we could all sit down and talk through what we were looking for. We ended up going with one of the builders Bruce knew and things turned out great!! It was our first time building and we got exactly what we wanted!!
